Using Reverb on several channels [message #85332]

Hi there,

I would like to use the DSP Reverb on several channels and I'd like to ask for the optimal way....

Any ideas which setup in the MIO is the best?

Take a look at the "Reverb + Cue Bus" template in MIO Console. This template has a reverb bus with all channels routed to it.

Hey Allen,

do you have a general way how to set this up? For instance if I already have a great routing for my needs and this reverb thing is the last to add...
How would I do it? Do you have a step by step explanation?

- Open the Mixer Configuration and create an aux bus. Assign it to your master bus in the bottom of the window. Click "Configure".
- Send your inputs to the aux in the Mixer window.
- Insert HaloVerb on the aux master strip.

Hi there,

I am sorry to ask again...but I don't know how you do that exactly. Is there a page in the documentation where it is explained step by step? I just tried it the way you did but I had bad feedbacks here....

Looking at your setup in the last screencap:

- Set the outputs of DAW 3/4 & 5/6 back to the "Main" bus.
- In the bus strip at the right of the Mixer, set the source at the top to "Reverb" and the output at the bottom to "Main".
- On every channel you want to send to the reverb, click on an insert slot, go to "Send" and select "Reverb". This will open a Send window where you can set the mix going to the reverb bus.
- Make sure to turn the "Direct dB" level in HaloVerb all the way down.
