Hello,

I have some click problems in Logic Pro 9.1.8. As soon as I record or monitor a track in Logic, clicks appear quite often, always on input 1 and 2, even if no mic is connected.

My configuration : OS 10.8.2, MIO Console 5.5.01.208, MIO driver 5.4d221. I had the same problem on the previous versions, I did an update today.

Setting the Logic buffer on 1024 doesn't solve the issue.

I'm in touch with Jon at Metric-Halo, but no solution for the moment... Does anyone have the same trouble ?

Thanks !

If software monitoring is disabled in Logic, the clicks don't happen anymore when monitoring.
But the problem remains when recording...

We did a lot of tests with Jon Stern from MH. Apparently a A/D converter is burned out, so the unit goes back to the dealer and probably to the MH factory... Fortunately it's still under warranty, I bought it in April.
Anyway, amazing support from Jon, thanks a lot ! Smile

The issue couldn't be replicated by Metric Halo, so they sent the ULN-8 back to me, thinking that the problem could come from an interaction between the DI and my electrical environment.
I disconnect the DI, the clicks still happen. In the MIO recorder alone and in Logic.
In 44100, clicks happen only on channels 1 and 2. If I increase the sample rate, clicks start happening on all the channels.
I tried changing my RAM, my SSD, updating to 10.8.2, reinstall all MIO software, the problem remains.
I tried the ULN-8 on a iMac running 10.6, in the same environment, no clicks. I tried it with my computer in another environment, the clicks are still there.
It's now more than one month and a half that I can't use the ULN-8, unbelievable.

The fact that the ULN-8 works correctly on another machine indicates that the issue is with your computer, not the ULN-8. Please continue to work with support to determine the fault.

Some good news at last...! Just had the opportunity to try a Thunderbolt adapter, no clicks anymore ! So the problem comes definitely from my Firewire port.
It's crazy, my motherboard has been entirely changed a few months ago because of a faulty network port.
What a story, it's been almost two month that we are struggling with Jon...

However, all the hard drives I connect to via firewire seem to work perfectly. Any thoughts about this...?
