Hi Guys,
I'm a sound mixer and a MH ULN8 user.
As you can see fro the attached pic I'm happily recording a tv show for italian TV using one UNL8 and one LIO8 with the mic preamp card installed.

I must say that is a pretty handy and stable system to record up to 24 channels but i have some request to make the software became more location sound friendly.

- First of all Mio Console should have a better metadata management with the possibility to write on the files all the info that we need as sound mixers ( scene, take, day etc etc)
- Then i'd like to have the chance to record POLY files directly with all the metadata.
- You should improve the TC settings maybe including a software TC generator to see TC all over the set.
- But the most important part is to have the chance to use all the boxes connected as a single mixer with no limitation about busses and headphone feed. In this very moment i have to route a submix from the LIO to the ULN via analog I/O to have the chance to listen on the inputs fro a single cans bus.

Speaking of the box itself it should be awesome to have a on build safe battery that in case of power cut it would give the chance to close you're files.

Hope to have some feedback on this topic.

All the best.

I agree with all of your requests! Especially in regards to the Time Code implementation.

The bussing issue will be taken care of after the new hardware comes out later this year.

1Lio8 and 2ULN8s make for happy studio
