Clicks and pops on OS 10.8.5/ULN-8? [message #86088]

Using the ULN-8 onto a late 2013 MacBook Air (OS 10.8.5) I am noticing digital clicks and pops when playing back audio and video via quicktime/itunes/safari. The clicks appear in different places and vary also upon replaying a track, so they are not static. Playing the files back on Audition 6.0 gives no noise whatsoever (buffer set fairly high to 2056 samples). I recently did a clean start on the MBA (via time machine backup) and the clicks and pops disappeared until I went back to using MIO. What is going wrong? Is this a known problem? Thanks!

The ULN-8 is superb and I hate to think that I might have to sacrifice the quality and have to change to another device, or buy another dedicated Mac Confused

I am sure that this is resolvable. The best thing to do is to open a support ticket so that our support folks can ensure that you have the right configuration, or if there is a bug that needs addressing, so that we can capture the bug and address it.

I am operating on 10.8.5 with the current driver with no pops or clicks.
