I have tried to find an answer to this online, but without success. Can someone please explain if CS3 is different from the MS? I am especially curious about the EQ and compressor. My impression is that MS is still a notch above CS, but I am not sure if that is correct. I would use MS more but only use it when tracking as I find the GUI to be painfully tiny and I prefer to do my mixing in Logic, using the MIO mixer to sum some busses with Character on them but without other MIO plugins...CS3 is much better in terms of GUI.
Also, is the EQ6/12 different in quality from the EQ in MS?
Many thanks!

I would also like to know this!
I did a simple quick test with 2 tracks out of phase with each other in Pro Tools, one with the CS3 and the other with the MS (delay compensated off course).
- Without plugins enabled the sound is completely cancelled out.
- When I switch on the MS without anything enabled it still cancels out,
- When I switch on the CS3 without anything enabled there comes a difference over the whole spectrum somewhere around -130 db.
- Playing a bit with identical eq settings I see more but very slight differences. The difference seems bigger in the lows.
No idea which one is better, but there not 100% identical..
Hopefully Metric could explain more about this
