Hello,
i use my card MH ULN8 a MIO before many years in live situation for replace the FOH mixer with an AVID ArtistMix controller. It works perfectly for faders volume, soloes, panoramics, but it's impossible to flip the send aux mix on fader. Think you that one day this function will be accessible?
And i have an other problem! when i move quickly one or many faders on the Artist Mix, the faders of MIO can't move at the same time.
Thanks,

Sorry for my english, i'am a french guy's Wink

This has always been supported; you get to it from the "Aux" Knob set. You get back to the mix via the "Mix" knob set.

The actual mapping between the control surface and the programming interface is a bit confusing, so I think that the following is correct, but I would need to be in front of a control surface to actually verify.

To get the Aux bus on the faders, you push the "Aux" button on the left side of the control surface. Multiple presses should cycle through the busses.

To get back to the main mix, you push the "Mix" button on the left side of the control surface (you may need to hold the shift button).

As far as the fader issue you describe, are you using the most recent version of MIO Console? We fixed a performance problem at some point that caused problems with faders and control surfaces. If you are up to date, please open a support ticket at https://mhsecure.com/support so we can get more details...

Hope this helps...

I have just downloaded the last version of MIO, and now there is not problem anymore of follow-up of faders. Great news Wink

As for the possibility of using aux sends on the suface ArtistMix, it does not work yet. That works only once and then that bug

Can you be a bit more explicit about the bug you are seeing? If you can give us steps to reproduce, we can set it up here and take a look. From the code it should all be working...

OK
MIO and Eucon control ar open

Step 1: When a press for the first time the GROUP/AUX and SHIFT button on the Artistmix, my first Aux send mix page's open and the fader of ARtistMix Flip one the MIX Send. It's perfect
Step 2: When I press the button second time, nothing takes place while that should show my other aux send.
Step 3: To return on my page of mixing, I shall normally have to make SHIFT & PAN/MIX button but this fonction works randomly and after it's impossible to return on a AUX SEND Fader Page on Artist mix.

Needs it in mIO to place specifically the mix AUX Send? For example without leaving of space between "line" of mix? Exemple below with SIDE Mix and M7 SEND:

index.php?t=getfile&id=133&private=0

It should be working as you describe; you don't need a specific layout of sends in MIO Console.

We'll get an Artist Mix set up and try to reproduce this. Thanks for the info. I'll let you know what we find.

Hi Soniste,

So, I checked this out with both an MC Control and an MC Mix, and it works the same way on both. It does work as I described, and as you expect, but with one caveat:

The selection between the Busses is done via the "knobsets" feature of EuCon. In order for the "knobset" control to be active, one of the strips needs to be selected (on the surface). This is more visible on the MC Control, because the knobset indicators are not present when there is no selected strip. On the MC Mix, it is invisible; there is no indicator that the "knobset" buttons are not active.

In any case, after each bus change (e.g. Main -> Send, Send -> Send, Send -> Main) you have to push the SEL button next to one of the faders (it doesn't matter which, as long as there is a strip assigned, so probably the leftmost one is the best to use, because IIRC, it always has a strip assigned), and then the Aux and Mix buttons will be active.

I don't know if there is anything we can do to ensure that there is a strip selected when the bus changes -- that may be completely managed by the EuCon software, but I can look into it.

Hope this helps!

Did you select a track again? A track needs to be selected for the Mix button to work. I tested this here before I posted; it works for me.
