logic pro x. only stereo output works (1 and 2) [message #86662]

Hi.

I recently purchased a metric halo 2882 dsp+. Great unit but can't work out how to assign outputs. previous interface i would just select in logic. Please see pic. what am i doing wrong?

The outputs from the computer are the DAW channels in the MIO Mixer.

If you want them to go directly out to the outputs, then go to the DAW strips in the default setup and set the direct outs for those to the Analog Outputs you would like to use...

thanks. but now when i try and record through 3 and 4 it records the output of that channel

The FW channels in MIO Console correspond to the inputs into logic; set the direct outs on the channels you want to record to FW x ; these will appear as Input x in Logic. So if you have FW 3 as the direct out on your DAW 3 strip in MIO Console that's what you will get back in Logic. Just make sure that the FW channels are set on your analog (or digital) input strips in MIO Console.

Hi...I restarted with Firestudio turned off and it forced my computer now to send internal audio to my HDMi output into my monitor ( big screen smart tv ) I now have sound through that avenue, but when I turn on my studio live board and select at the Mac Apple prefs of Presonus it cancels everything and I then have no sound from the computer.
