Console Hangs [message #86760]

I have a ULN8 and 2 ULN2s. I haven't used the ULN2's in a while and one of them has a fryed phy waiting patiently to be upgraded. I put the other ULN2 in to service yesterday via AES for a session where I could really use the extra 2 inputs. Now the Console hangs. I have the current driver loaded, v5.6.11 and am running 10.13.4 OS. It occurred to me maybe I hadn't run the NVRAM Boot Arg thingy when I upgraded to 10.13.4 (though I thought I had) and have tried that a couple times to get the ULN2 to work in concert with the ULN8 without luck. The Console hangs for a bit then continues on. If I play iTunes through it, the music goes for a while, then will cut in and out.

Any suggestions?

If you really have the current driver installed, you don't need to worry about the NVRAM thing anymore.

Make sure that it is indeed the 5.4d243 driver that is loaded.

If it is, and you are using the 5.6.11.223 console, then you should open a support ticket so we can get to the bottom of the problem:
