I'm trying to setup a 5.1 monitor setup.
If I setup a monitor output in 5.1 the strips are only sending stereo to that output.
When I setup a 5.1 strip, I only see a stereo meter and it doesn't work either.
That's not working yet as it says in the "know issues"
What's the workaround?

5.1 monitoring, bussing and panning works.

Are you panning in your host, or are you trying to mix 5.1 in the MIO Mixer?

I'd be curious as to how you worked it out.

Setting up a 5.1 Monitor Source works as expected. I was confuse, because you don't get any input metering.
To get that I had to make 5.1 strip in the mixer. That the weird part. You have to make a 5.1 bus in "Configure Mixer..."
Then you make a new input strip, select the 5.1 bus as output. then you can assign your inputs to "multi"
Once that is done you can also route the channel to a stereo bus. but you have no control how the downmix is done.
This is a bit weird.

Hope that helps.
