Hi, I apologize if this has been answered somewhere but I couldn't find it.

I want to mix multiple channels within MIOConsole3d to a single physical analog output. For instance, I want to be able to send Host channel 4, Analog in 3 of my first 2882 and Analog in 5 of my second 2882 all to, say, output 6 of 2882 #1. I know how to create a bus, and get the input channels to that bus, but how do I route the bus to a physical output? It's only giving me my main stereo L/R (ULN-2 monitor outputs) as an option. Where do I create a physical output path from a group/bus that isn't to the main L/R monitor out?

Thanks,
Eli

I assume you're on 2d

Go to the metric halo website support/tutorials

Scroll down to the general tab. There's a tutorial called "Multibox mixing and monitoring with v5"

No, I'm on 3d, but I think I figured it out. Just saw the I/O option in the Inserts section, that seems to do it.

Thanks,
Eli

Eli,

There are a couple of ways to route out from the busses.

There are the I/O inserts that you can put into a plugin slot.

There is the Bus Output at the very bottom of the strip that you can use to route to an output.

Or you can create a Cue and source the Cue from the bus; this also gives you analog gain control, mute and Dim for the physical output.

Thanks, BJ, Bus Output was off in my view settings, now I see it! That's why I was so confused...
