Hello, I instaled the 3d upgrade in my ULN2, and I am slowly understanding how it works.
I must say I found this very useful link on youtube, by MIke Crehore that is helping me a lot:
can't load the link, sorry
So now when I load any 3d Plugins ( that came with my upgrade) in my Console, they load but without any of the useful presets I used to have.
I checked in Library/Audio/ presets, MH presets , but there are none to load.
I can save presets tho.
Thank you in advance, so far so good

A MIO plug-in presets installer is not included with the 3d software downloads yet, but the presets from 2d can be opened in 3d. The installer is attached.

You could try installing them manually. Unzip the attached file and then move the individual folders inside the MIOPluginPresets folder to this location on your user drive:
~/Library/Preferences/MIOPluginPresets/
Your user library is hidden from you by default. Hold the option key while choosing the "Go" menu in the Finder, and choose "Library" from that menu. Or alternatively, in the Finder, type Command-Shift-G and paste the path above to get to that folder.

Thanks for the info..
I've tried to follow your procedure, but I cannot find any preset from my mio 3d console. What's wrong? is it possible than 3d presets are in another location?
thanks

Hello all!
I realize that this is an older post and hasn't been bumped in 10 months, and I posted the below post on Gearspace, with no response, and I was PM'd by a GSer who suggested that I post here, so here goes....
I just started using the 3d card workflow with a used 3d 2882 I bought online and I want to start upgrading my 2d MIOS to the 3d card, so I am new to the 3d world and I LOVE the workflow! But I have some questions on the 3d workflow.
First off, GRAPHS are ALWAYS the way to go and are incredibly powerful and useful tool to be able to keep a certain workflow and it's thanks to Metric Halo in dreaming up this workflow!!! In the MIOConsole since the 2d years, I have always made Graphs with a signal chain that I know that I want to use across different channels (for recording, tracking, for mixing, for mastering, etc) and save BOTH the MIOConsole Mixer State files, as well as the Graphs (along with each of the Graph's plugins' settings) to be easily accessible and have a consistent workflow. I completely understand that the Beta of MHLink and the 3d MIOConsole has undergone a myriad updates with a gang of features being added with every update, so many of the questions I may ask (since I'm new to the 3d world, and am still in the middle of my "homework" of scouring the forums), so my questions about any functionality and features may have already been asked or may be added soon with an update to the Beta .... so ....
My questions are, how exactly are User Graphs and MIOConsole Mixer States saved in the 3d mixer?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way the 2d mixer saved Console States and Graphs REQUIRED users to have the actual User Preset and/or Graph files saved in the ~Library Folder or else both the User Presets/Graphs AND Console State files would not load correct.
Back when the 2d card came out (during the Snow Leopard/Intel days), the Library folder was easily accessible and from that time (around 2009), I would migrate/clone my entire (original Snow Leopard) Hard Drive to all the Mac OSX updates, which I did up until 2017, at which time that clone got so bloated and big and I was migrating all of the bugs and errors going forward, that when Mac OS Mojave came out (and stopped compatibility of many of my older 32bit apps), I just started doing clean installs as all apps moved from DVD/CD install disks to DMG dowloaders (of which I would save in Dropbox and easily download and link to any new computer). <<<< The problem was, when I opened an older project, my 2d MIOConsole states wouldn't load with all of my graphs, so I had to boot into my older Snow Leopard computers, and copy/paste my User Presets/Graphs and keep them saved/backed up to iCloud Drive and Dropbox.
[[[[ BTW, in addition to saving my older User Presets/Graphs, I would also save MULTIPLE COPIES of the older ".cnsl" files inside of each project's folder (a Tracking.cnsl file, an Overdub.cnsl, a Mixing.cnsl, etc.) in case I needed access to see how each project was recorded and available for recall as "ConsoleConnect" wouldn't always load correctly.]]]]]
So, with the current 3d MIOConsole, I am saving my User Graphs and Presets, which are saved in that hidden ~Library folder, and then I'm having to go inside that ~Library folder, and copying them to an iCloud and/or Dropbox folder and they're easily accessible by just dragging and dropping the file onto a MIO Channel! I LOVE this new future BTW!!!! ... BUT, I don't want to have to do the above process every time. Is there a better workflow for this?
Is there a way to make a Dynamic Link in "iCloud Drive" and/or a "Dropbox" folder for our MIOConsole User Presets (Graphs, etc.) or will this cause problems?
Or, are the User Presets/Graphs actually saved in a similar way and do they require us to have the actual Graphs saved in the hidden ~Library folder, or will the newer ".mhgraph3d" files and the new 3d worlkflow allow for each UserPreset/Graph to be saved INSIDE/WITHIN in the ".mhgraph3d", or is there a way for the ".mhgraph3d" Console files to save all of the attached UserPreset/Graphs settings via an update?
