I have 2 2282's and 2 ULN2's. I just upgraded the 2882's to 3D, they appear to have had 2D cards in them, they are +dsp expanded.
Felt kinda dumb because I paid for upgrading legacy boxes! But anyway I am wondering how to best recycle the 2D cards/hardware etc.
Cab I use them in my unexpanded ULN2's, do I need more hardware? Can I sell them to someone with a 2882 that wants to upgrade to 2D?
Where does the +DSP license on older MH boxes live anyway, would that follow the logic board?

I should also say how much fun it was upgrading my 2882's to 3D ! The build for Metric Halo gear is really built to last, real quality parts which makes taking it apart and putting it back together again like playing with some aircraft quality toys. "Made In The USA"! Could have gone lighter on the aluminum, but this is better, good stuff.

Sorry. didn't see this (this is a community forum; we monitor it, but we may miss posts. If you need to have a question answered, please contact support).
That said:
Yes the 2d card from a 2882 will work in a ULN-2. The +DSP license is associated with the master board, not the 2d card; if you want the +DSP license to move, you will need to move both the masterboard and the 2d card to the ULN-2.
You can resell them if you like, but I imagine there is not too much demand for them at this point. If you don't find a use for them and don't want to recycle them, you can mail them back to the factory and we will dispose of them properly.
