Hi,
when I open a lot of plugin I got 99% on my ULN8 and only 4% on my ULN2 .
The result is distorsion while there should be 96% left ressources on the ULN2 .

What's wrong ?
Is there a way to have balanced dispatch ?

Thanks.

So, when the strips are sourced by physical channels, they are automatically bound to the DSP on the box that has the physical I/O.

The I/O from the computer physically comes into the root box so the DSP is assigned to the root box by default. If you turn on the "Spread Host Channels Across Boxes" the strips sourced by the host will be distributed across the attached boxes and the host channels will be forwarded from the root box to the DSPs on the other boxes. So that is, indeed, the correct way to distribute the processing.

THANK YOU! I was wondering why I was out of DSP during STEM MIXING and why ONLY the host box's DSP was being used.

I searched the MH Forums and there were THREE other posts regarding this issue ....

BJ only replied to this one ...

l'll post my reply here and on the other Post/Topics here .... so you'll all have to search for the titles of the below Topics as I got this message when I tried to post my reply:

You cannot use links until you have posted more than 300 messages."

BTW, this SHOULD be a default state of the 3d MIOConsole Mixer, right? I mean, what is the use case for NOT wanting to have full access to ALL the DSP of ALL of your attached boxes ( ie., Mixer>"Spread Host Channels Across Boxes") ?!?!? Am I missing something?
