Hi guys,
I would like to use MIO Strip and Halo vErb on tracks in logic... What Im trying to do is just "insert" them onto my logic track/channel with the I/O plugin and take the output in the IO lougin to DAW 3/4... I have setup MIO console channel to receive on DAW 3/4 and it is routed to the Main out. this seems right to me but no signal comes into the MIO channel strip??? when I bypass the IO plugin then i have output again, but when it is on, nothing. no signal in MIO mixer or logic.
AM i doing something wrong?
I swear this was working fine a few weeks back but maybe not, or mayb I am just missing something now?
Please help, I prefer not want to clutter my mixer with more Output channels, I prefer doing an "in the box mix" to logic stereo out bus...

You need to route the signal back to Logic from your processing channel. Please see the attached screenshot:
- Logic's main output is on DAW 1/2
- The processing send comes in on DAW 3/4
- The processed signal returns into the I/O plug on FW 3/4
- The processing channel is muted in MIO Console so that it is only monitored through Logic
In Logic's I/O plug-in, make sure that you are sending on DAW 3/4 and returning on FW 3/4.
Best regards,

Hi allen, sorry, i had soloed the bus that i had the I/O plugn, when i unsoloed it the signal was coming through the MIO mixer... strange tho, because when that track is soloed without the IO plugin, it playes (soloed obviously) through the stereo out, but when the I/O is on it wont play soloed, only if i unsolo all channels in logic.
Im not sure if i am making sense, its late! (southern hemisphere!) but anyway not too much of a biggy as i can just solo the MIO channel, to hear that channel alone.

While the I/O-Plug-In is great for exactly this use, you pay a certain price... and that price is mostly accepting buggy soloing and sacrificing bounce in place. This is Logic's fault.
Did anyone experience any latency/phase issues using multiple I/O-Plug-Ins? I haven't really done extensive testing due to above reasons yet...
