This feature request has been logged, but the flexible nature of MIO Console as well as Apple's implementation of the volume keys makes this difficult (which is why it hasn't been done yet).

In the meantime, you can easily control the level of the ULN-2's Monitor Controller using key commands; the default keystrokes are Control+Option+Command+ Up arrow to raise the volume and Control+Option+Command+ Down arrow to lower the volume.
