Hi,
I'm trying to streamline my workflow for mixing and I was thinking about looking into making automation work via MIDI in nuendo. I know the MIO doesn't support automation, but I watched a video on integrating logic and the MIO, and thought that might be of some help.
However, no such luck, yet. I'm also not sure as to whether or not to use Console Connect while trying this out, either (I use the console connect to save my mixer setup, but I'm not sure if it would just be another layer of problems. Nuendo doesn't seem to want to release the MC Mix from the program (and allow me to use it with the MIO), and I'm not sure how well MIDI setup translates between instructions given for Logic, and Nuendo.
Basically, anyone had any luck setting up anything similar to what I'm describing? MC Mix controlling the MIO faders, which in turn is read by a MIDI track's automation in Nuendo? I haven't seen any posting on this so I feel as if I am walking in the dark.
