I'm trying to get the haloverb to stick permanently in my track in Reaper. I hear it from the monitors. Someone told I need Console Connect...... what is that, and how do I get it? Thanks!

Really, no one can help me with this? Is there a template that does this? I'm using basic set up template. It seems it might be a popular notion to have the plugins actually work in the Daw.

I'm simply wanting to have haloverb render in my recording in my track. I hear the haloverb on my headphones, but when I go to export my recording there is no haloverb. I understand that what I'm hearing is being routed back into the MH, but it isn't in my DAW. How do I get haloverb into my DAW so I can apply it to my track?

You need to take the channel containing HaloVerb, assign the post-insert direct out to FW channels and record the output into your DAW. The reverb will not "render" since your DAW sees MIO Console as external equipment; it must be recorded in realtime.

If you want to insert HaloVerb directly in your DAW (and be able to render faster than realtime), it is available as an AU and AAX plug-in and is currently on sale.

Thanks Allen, so do I need to set up the haloverb first then record it into my DAW along with the live recording, or can I record it dry into my DAW, then add Haloverb to it later...... I don't understand this part. Second, if I buy say the production bundle for a AU plugin, do I get the license in the MH as well as for my DAW, or limited to use just in my Daw? I'm sorry for these questions but I'm a begenner at this stuff and just trying to wrap my head around this.

You can record though HaloVerb, record the dry signal and HaloVerb as a separate track, or record dry and add HaloVerb later. Where are you inserting HaloVerb?

The Production Bundle runs in your DAW only.
