Mixer assignments lost after installing Mic Pre [message #85856]

I just installed the 4 mic pre board in my LIO-8.
As a result, the name of the LIO has changed in console, and all my templates no longer work because of this.

Also problematic because I have some pretty complex I/O assignments in cubase with an aggregate device that will no longer work because the device name has changed.

Is there a known workaround?
