ULN2 - 2d Upgrade but no sound [message #85857]

I installed the 2d card in my ULN2 and I'm getting signal in MIO Console from iTunes, Reason, but not through the mixer, inputs, speakers, headphones. What does NC refer to? I'm not seeing any FW routing option in the mixer outputs, only n/c and Auto. I ran the firmware update but nothing visually happened when I did that. Confused.
