I have a really basic setup:
Analog synth -> ULN-2 -> Mac
I want to be able to record the synth in Logic and use Logic's monitoring so I can monitor with effects. I can't get it to work. If I use any of the templates, I get no sound out of the monitor output. I see that input 1/2 and analog 1/2 have activity but I can't figure out how to route that activity to the monitor output. In fact, the only way I can get the ULN-2 to produce ANY audio from the computer is by rebooting the MIO. Once I load a template, it's game over.
So right now I can hear the synth "live" through the ULN-2, and not be able to monitor with effects in Logic, or if I enable Logic's monitoring, I hear two copies of the synth, which sounds awful.
I know I'm missing something really stupid and I'm going to kick myself when I find out the answer, so go ahead, do your worst....
