Hello - I can't seem to find an answer in the manual, so thought I'd ask it here. Can anyone explain the purpose / function of the center frequency demarcation in the Spectragraph window? I have not been able to determine how, when or why it appears or what it's indicating.

Can you post a screenshot of what you are asking about?

I know you can use "command" to position it to pinpoint a frequency, but it appears to change with program material

Ok. So yes, when you hold the command key down, it will position a cursor in the Spectragraph window under the mouse.

The "Center Frequency" is the frequency where the cursor is positioned (e.g. the first number after the label).

The numbers that come after the frequency readout are the current dB levels of the various traces displayed in the Spectragraph at the cursor frequency.. The color coding matches the colors assigned to those traces.

They are live, so they change with the program material. They are most useful when you are using a static test tone.

Sure - I had all that, but I'm curious what prompts it to change and how it selects the frequency to show. Not to be dense, I've just been wondering about this for some time. Thanks for the help!

Moving the mouse over the Spectagraph with the command key down is what moves the cursor and changes the frequency...
