MioConsole 3d question here.. Running Logic X and MH 2882 3d. Trying to use hardware inserts, I'm having trouble getting the routing correct. On the Logic track I create an instance of I/O plugin--Where should I route the output and input? Then I create a new input strip in MioConsole--what channel should I bring the audio in on? Then on the Mioconsole input strip I create an I/O with routing over anaolg outputs/inputs to my compressor and back. Once I get the return from the compressor how do I send it back to Logic? In 3d there are no DAW or FW labelled channels, correct? In Logic I see outputs 1-32 but no DAW, Firewire, Analog, Digital labelling....and if I reset I/O labels there is no information provided by the driver. Why am I so confused??😂

Have you guys gotten in touch with support?
https://mhsecure.com/support
This sort of question is generally easier to answer interactively through our support channel.
That said, here is the cliff notes version:
In logic:
route to and from open channels (it doesn't matter which, as long as they are not being used by other i/o in logic). Note the channel numbers. You may find it easiest to use the same channel numbers for both input and output
In MIOConsole:
make a strip sourced by Host NN (where NN is the channel you routed to in Logic)
Set the post Insert direct out to Host YY (where YY is the channel you returned from in Logic)
If you want to use MIO Processing, insert the processing on the strip.
If you want the use an analog or digital loop, insert an I/O into an insert on the strip
In the I/O:
set the send the output you will connect to the input of your external device
set the return to input you will connect to the output of your external device
You only see Outputs 1-32 or Inputs 1-32 in logic because Logic routes to the MIO; the routing to physical I/O is done within the MIO and it is too ephemeral so it is not reported to Logic.
If you have further questions, it would probably be best to send them to support with details of precisely what you are trying to do, but if you follow the steps outlined above, it ought to be straightforward to set up your routing.
