Hey guys,

Just trying to setup a new Behringer ADA2800 to my MH2882 (2d Expanded), and I can't get the MIO to recognise it. It's set to "Slave ADAT" on back of the ADA2800, I have a clock cable running from the out of the 2882 to the clock of the ADA2800 (only one option). I also have my optic cables going to and from ADAT in/outs on both. I've had second 2882 connected before (a friends) but not finding the ADA2800 easily like it was for that. Tried different clock source etc, with no luck... Any ideas/help please Smile

Thanks

I have a ADA8200 running with my LIO8

The Slave setting is either ADAT Sync or Wordclock in. If you set it to ADAT slave the BNC Cable is doing nothing. It should still work...

Did you check that you see a red light on the output cable from your ADA8200 that connects to the input of your 2882?

Are you maybe on 96kHz?
ADA8200 is limited to 44,1/48kHz...

I used to have an ADA8000 slaved for extra in/outs on my ULN2 and it was a simple plug up the ADAT connectors, slave the ADA8000s clock to the ULN2 (theres a 5 way switch next to the BNC connectors) and away you went.

Definitely pay attention to what quintusii says about the sample rate as you are limited to 44.1/48. It's why I've upgraded to a Focusrite Clarett Octopre so I can now start working at 96KHz.
