So, new setup with the just installed 3D card in my ULN-2

The default set up gave me the 2 analogue inputs, routed as Pre 1 & Pre 2 to host. Then I added 16 channels for my ADAT inputs, and these started at the number 4 - meaning all my inputs are offset in my DAW.

I can see no way of altering this - when add inputs strip is used it automatically assigns a "to host" number - how do I change this? And where has host channel 3 gone?

Am I going to have to manually add an extra channel at the end and shuffle every single inputs over by one, and rename everything....?

Also meant to add -when I do a save of the console, the screen turns completely black, I have to tab away from the app and then back again to get the console view back.

Thanks

This sounds like a bug.

Can you select all the channels, set one to "None" (which should set them all to None) and then Set it back to "Pre" (which should set them all to Pre) and see if that gives you a clean allocation?

Thanks BJ, that did it, removed all and when reassigned came back all sequential.

Still have the black screen on save though. Only way out of it is to CMD-TAB away. And the first time I save and then tab out and back again I get the recording screen focussed. Not a big deal but odd behaviour.

"Black screen on save"? What's that?

I think we have the reordering of the windows on app focussed fixed for the next build - that was an artifact of supporting floating windows...

Black screen not always happening on save, but when it does the entire screen goes completely black, no icons, nothing. Behaviour changes - so for example right now I just did a save as. The screen slid to the recording page, then on closing that the entire screen went black.

Are you running in full-screen mode?

In full screen mode it swipes to Recorder page, then when I close that it goes black.

In non-full screen mode it goes straight to black on save.
