Hello everyone im new to mh , just got my 1st interface , being the uln2 expanded

using osx 10.11.2 and mio 5.6.07.219
currently getting a ton of issues with what seems to be mio crashing many seemingly irrelevant applications such as skype , chrome, opera and etc.

The interface works flawlessly when used with host audio applications , and also console connect , i also have the production bundle plugins and all is working fine , this issue lies in the mentioned above applications for example if im using an audio host application or not and just online or running in the background youtube or skype one of the other if there is any audio output the browser in question or skype will freeze to a point that a force quite has no effect.

Then i try a os restart and im promoted with a message from mio saying something has changed in my mio preset , although i have not touched any thing , at all.
This to mean says something in the might be editing the mixer or something .. im not sure , then causing the crash , i have no remote or anything connected , so yeah , really not sure.
I thought i had some really horrible possibly mac virus at one point and also suspected a quicktime issue or some other video related problem , but since disconnecting the hardware and reverting to another interface the issue is gone.

any suggestions would be much appreciated .. sadly this is my only machine so i need to use it for more than just a stand alone ausio workstation... Rolling Eyes

thanks so much

Josh
