I want to mix and master some tracks with ULN8, MIO and Mytek 192 DSD DAC.

My workflow is: Studio One / Logic Pro channels (both DAWs only for editing Audio tracks) directly into MIO - Mixing in MIO with MIO EQs and Mio Comps - then connecting Mytek Digital 192 DAC and MIO Stereo Sum through AES/EBU - WC master from ... to .. ?

Mytek (Stereo 192-DSD DAC) is the main Mixing DAC in the studio. I know that ULN8 DAC is good too but the Mytek sounds a bit more accurate and transparent to my ears. My question is which ones WC should I use as Master ? Mytek´s or ULN´s ? I

Coming from an theoretical approach I think the ULN8 should be Master-clocking the Mytek. However , I am not -practically - sure Rolling Eyes

Looking forward to your answer

Common practice would be for the Mytek to clock to the incoming AES signal from the ULN-8. You could also have the ULN-8 be the master via WC, or try making the Mytek the master if it has a clock out. While clocking from the ULN-8's AES signal is the simplest, any of the approaches should work.
