Hi all.
I just have to replace a MH2882 on a show because it's behaving in a very strange manner.
Firstly, it's causing Qlab, which is only running 5 cues to hang (spinning rainbow wheel). The 2882 is hosting Waves Native Multi-track and sporadically, the interface will have clock related crackles and spikes. The FOH console (Studer Vista) has a pair of AES/EBU connected to the 2882 (externally clocked by a Rosendahl nanosync). Regardless of whether clock reference on MO console is set to WC or DIGI in, the sporadic crackles will still happen.
Furthermore, all my 8 x analog TRS outputs are outputting different level, even though metering on the hardware (2882) and MIO console tells otherwise. I'm currently running the latest driver and mio console software. I have double checked that all cabling infrastructure is sound and the difference in physical output levels is legitimate.
I have this feeling I need to send the unit back to MH.
Any insights?
Regards.
