Hello everyone,
I 'm an happy owner of two 2882. I love the box, its converters are great and the MIO console is ace.
Nevertheless I've experienced weird issues when connecting the two boxes via firewire to have 8 extra channels via adat.
(Sorry for all experienced users this is how I connected everything, just below)
Box 1 is fed by the computer and power supply
Box 2 is chained by firewire from the 1st Box
Box 1 wordclock out to box 2 wordclock in
Box 2 Adat out to Box 1
I made a template in the mio console, record,it works no problem.
BUT when I turn the computer off and back on the next day with the same console state, the 8 adat return tracks are fed with an horrible distorted signal
then I have to unplug and" hotplug " everything in adisorderly fashion so it goes back to "normal ".
Has anyone experienced the same thing ? I just feel hotplugging isn't " right "
hope it's clear with my poor english and noobiness
thx in advance

Sorry, did not see this original message.
This should work fine. The only thing I can think of is that one of the boxes has turned off and the clock source or TOSLINK/ADAT switch has changed.
Honestly, this is probably something that is best handled with our support team via a ticket.
