Hi there
I have a big issue when connecting an API 2500 with ULN_8 direct out signals - it doesn´t work , no signal is detected by the API. I wonder what the problem might be because the API2500 works perfectly with UAD Apollo Direct Stereo Outs in a another studio.
I also tried to feed the API with a ULN_8 D25SD Sub to > XLR connection . Same here , dead- The API will not receive a signal from the ULN8 OUtputs. I also used different (symmetric) cables, same here- The strange thing is that the direct outs from ULN-8 into Studio MOnitors works perfectly. This is totally insane. Are there any possible or known incompabilities between ULN 8 and API2500 symetrical connections ?? ..I am lost

Hi,
This might sound too obvious, but have you double-checked the d-sub-to-xlr snake to make sure that it's both the right type (tascam) and that it is also wired for analog rather than aes/ebu?
Have you tried creating a new MIO console setup or tried starting anew from one of the templates?
Also, I had trouble with my MIO console routing via the external out plugin prior to applying a Terminal fix, the "boot-args" fix, detailed in the following thread:
http://mhsecure.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=21453&s tart=0&S=b5889cbd20f4c72fdd15aace52764022
It seems that under OS X El Capitan, there can arise a problem that causes MIO console to quickly run out of resources behind the scenes, and this fix corrects that. After I applied the fix, all of my external routings to external reverb units, which I had set up as aux sends in MIO console, started working again. Perhaps there's a similar thing going on.
Regards,
Tom
