Hi, I have had a ULN2 for 12+ years. Still working. I was using a mixer so my setup was consistent for guitar and mics. My mixer is adding lots of noise so I'm now hoping to go direct.

My guitars seem to be fine.

I don't seem to have any control over mic input volume. I'm sure it is operator error so I need help.
I have phantom power on.
trim off
gain know labeled 6-72 seems to have no effect.
Can't see how to change gain from the MIO console.

I do have a decent level from mic if I am right up on it. But I need to record a violin soon and will need better control of gain.

I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong. Help. Thanks, Ron
