Sorry for posting in the hardware section, but somehow i kept being redirected to the login page when i wanted to post in the mio console section

i've been trying to playback recorded tracks but the playback button is not active
i can record tracks and i see a waveform, yet the playback button doesn't work
what am i missing here?

MIOConsole3d does not support playback yet; that will be in the next release which will be out soon.

If you want to listen to your takes, you'll need to play them back in the finder or by dragging them into a DAW.

The next release of MIOConsole3d adds comprehensive playback support.

Hi BJ

thanks for your reply

i didn't see that it wasn't supported yet on the pb9 quickstart page
looking forward to this function in the next release

i've been successfully using the mio console with Nuendo to playback and record

what is the best way to 'flip' the input of each channel in MIO from input (preamp) to host (playback?)

i've been using the IO insert ( return = host #) to do this, bypassing it to monitor the input when recording

It works great and it allows me to easily do a live mix during recording and adjust the mix (and re-record) during playback (monitoring the mix through Nuendo)

is there a better way to do this?
