Is it possible to import audio files, for the purpose of overdubbing in the Session Record Panel?

Thank you much!

Sure. Just drag them from the finder into the Session window (onto an existing track). If you need to add track(s) to put them on, just add strips in the Mixer - that automatically creates a new track for each new strip.

If you drag multiple files, they will all drop at the same point in time on successive tracks.

There are also import commands in the Session > Files menu:
Import Take Folder will import a folder that contains many audio files, with a track for each file (e.g. like what you would have if you recorded a Take with the Record Panel)
Import Folder of Take Folders will import a set of takes (one in each folder in an enclosing folder), putting each take after the other on the timeline (with a track created for each file in the first take folder)
