Pretty sure I'm missing something really simple here, I've never tried to route audio out of my lio8 outside of the monitor path. However. I recently picked up a summing mixer and I'm planning on using the 8 channels of dac on my lio along with my symphony io slaved to it over bnc and Adat. Problem is when I go into logic, assign the outputs I get nothing, I've gone through everything I can find online and maybe it's because I just don't understand really how the routing works in the lio, or I'm missing something small.

The Outputs from logic are on Host 1 - N. If you want to route from Logic to a specific physical output, use the pre-insert direct out to set the physical output to send to on the strip channel with the Host X source. If that doesn't get you rolling, open a support ticket and our support team will walk you through the process.
