On the LIO-8 or ULN-8 (not sure which you're asking about) you would only have analog inputs available if you've used all 8 channels of AES.

No, you would use analog outs and line inputs for the reverb send/return. The send outputs are mults of the analog inputs.

The ULN-8 has eight channels of A/D conversion; you can select either the mic input or line input per converter, but not use them simutaneously.
