Hi, I'm having a problem driving the 2882 interface when inputs are set at the +4dBu setting with input gain set at zero. When the interface is set up like this my SPL Dynamaxx and also my API style preamps seems to lose al of their headroom and start to distort way to early. Is this normal?

All the best

What happens if you turn down the output gain of your out board gear or the input gain of the 2882?
