Hello,
every morning when I start my new LIO 8, output gain of output 1 + 2 (no other) is set to -30 dB. I am not so much into it right now, but this seems to be annoying .. any ideas why my output gain is set to -30 dB? Is there any Software solution? (I do not use the console software .. it´s only hardware connected to Pro Tools, all outputs are direct out to the monitors ... just recording .. )
Thanks for help
Martin

This attenuation is present by default on output 1-2 of the LIO-8, which is optimized for connecting to powered speakers. You can change this to Line +4 if you connect to amps, either from the front panel, in MIO Console, or if you've configured the Monitor Controller, from within the output path configuration.
Once you make the change, you can choose "Save Boot State" from the Utilities menu in MIO Console. This will allow the box to boot each time with the new setting.
I hope this is helpful.
