Hi everybody,

Would someone be so kind to help me in the matter from the subject.

In short, friend of mine ask me to use my ULN2 for recording his concert.
There will be a mixing desk and my intention is to record the mixed stereo signal from desk's line out straight into ULN2's return input (to bypass preamp).

Which cabling is apropriate ? just 2 mono balaced cables - desk's line out left into ULN2 R1 and line out right into R2 ?

Should I do that way or ... ?

And what with MIO Console-what should I do ?

Any advice/suggestion is welcome and highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nam

Yes; 2 mono balanced cables from the desk to the ULN-2 returns is fine. You may need to trim that down with the front panel trims.

You can record it with the record panel, or with a daw.

In either case, you need to make a strip for the two analog inputs and use the direct outs on the strips to route to FW.

If you use the RP, just record enable the strips and then hit record.

If you use a DAW, configure the DAW to get the input from the ULN-2 and record normally.

Truly; 2 mono adjusted links from the work area to the ULN-2 returns is fine. You may need to trim that down with the front board trims.

You can record it with the record board, or with a daw.

In either case, you have to make a strip for the two simple sources of info and utilize the immediate outs on the strips to course to FW.

On the off chance that you utilize the RP, simply record empower the strips and, hit record.

On the off chance that you utilize a DAW, design the DAW to get the contribution from the ULN-2 and record regularly.
