Hi,
I have only one ethernet port on my desktop.
Can I use an 10/100/1000 ethernet router to have both internet and 3d LINK at the same time
or should I unplug internet during recording to avoid issues ?
Should I prefer an ethernet to USB3 adapter to create a second ethernet link on my computer ?

You can use a switch to share the connection, and it generally works fine. If you do encounter problems, we would recommend adding an additional NIC and dedicate one Enet port to the MHLink connection.

Yes, I will dedicate one port to the MHLink .
While surfing on Google CHROME I got cracks on the audio tracks, one card staying OFFLINE and graphical problems in the mixer .
Ethernet router does not work .
Please mention it .

Are you on a Mac or a Hackintosh. By and large using a switch works fine (note: switch - not a router). The problem may be your NIC (if you are on a Hack).

Yes. I'm on an i7 Hackintosh (Multibeast - 10.9.5) and used a D-LINK router .
I just ordered an ethernet->USB3 adapter to see if a second link would resolve the problem .
Otherwise I'll get a wifi dongle .

Yeah -- it is probably your NIC, and not the switch/router.
You with the USB3 adapter, you will want to install the chipset driver (don't use Apple's driver).
If you have an open PCIe slot, we have found that the Intel i210 card works well (it will be lower CPU than a USB3 adapter)
