Hi all

I use the 2882 as an extra 8 channels with my ULN-2.

I'd like to take the 2882 to a colleague's studio and use it with their two channel interface which has optical in.

Does anyone do this? Use a 2882 just as an expander?

Will the 2882 just appear as extra in puts in the DAW? Or will we need to run the Console as well (no FW on the colleagues computer)

We'll just be using line inputs, so I assume we can save the 'state' of the 2882's inputs before the move?

Stephen

Are you on 2d or on 3d? I'm guessing 2d since you mention FireWire.

With 2d you can set up the routing as desired and save a boot state.

If you need help with this, open a support ticket.
