Hi,
will the ADAT only work if I use that EdgeCard in my ULN-2 ?
Could it damage something ?

Electrically, it works fine. But the extrusion for the side of the ULN-2 hits one of the adat connectors, so you can't fully insert the EdgeBoard if the Left side extrusion in place.

The SPDIF x1 ADATx2 board provides a bit more clearance and fits in the slot for the ULN-2 and 2882.

It's purely a mechanical thing.
