I have an older generation 2882 and ULN-2.
I just bought a pair of Genelec 8010a active monitors and there is a noticeable hiss coming from both speakers when they are plugged in to both 2882 and ULN-2.
I am using balanced XLR (Speaker) -> Jack (Audio Interface).
The Genelecs have a -10db switch on the back and even with that activated the hiss is noticeable. With it OFF the hiss is really loud.

Previously I've been using a pair of Proac Studio 100s with a Hafler P3000 power amp, with no hissing issues at all.

I was wondering if there's any workaround for this.
eg Would a hum isolator like the Art DTI Hum Eliminator 2 work?

Sounds like a gain structure issue right oof the bat.
Previous Topic: standalone
Next Topic: LIO-8 Outputs are much quieter on the same monitors compared to 2882, at the same MIO output level.
