I have a specific question and hope that also / maybe JB can comment on it.
I use a ULN8 as a pure (Mic Preamp) frontend converter for a Windows machine, connected to a Lynx Hilo.
I.e. I convert 8 Mic/ or instrument tracks with ULN 8 (3D) and send the Mio sum via AES/ EBU to the Lynx Hilo , which is connected to a Win10 machine with Nuendo. Is it better or does it have advantages / disadvantages that the ULN-8 sends the (master) clock to the Lynx Hilo (slave) via WordClock or AES/EBU or is it better if the Lynx Hilo sends its (master) clock to the ULN-8 (slave) via WC or AES/EBU ?
Or is it simply all the same from a qualitative point of view whether ULN-8 or Lynx is the MasterClock ?
thanks !

Hi.
My Metric halo 2882 wont connect to macbook, and MIO console does not register any device.
I use the MIO 5.6.12.224
Theres no light in the FW on front panel.
When i connect FW cable only samplerate, clock, ditigal I/O, power and LOCKED is lit up.
I had the problem before where I ran a erase bootstate. but cant seem to find the file on my macbook.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is an "How to" question or an suggestion but I was wondering if it is possible to select the Monitor Input Source via the the hardware encoders on the ULN8 3d.
Like switching to I/O Trim > Input, Control Mode: Monitor, push one of the eight encoders to select a Monitor Controller Input Source.
Or switching to I/O Trim > Output, Control Mode: Monitor, push one of the eight encoders to select a Monitor Controller Output Source.
I saw that it's possible with Key Commands. Which is already pretty cool.
Greetings
