So I've built a breakout in a rack panel for my ULN-8. There I have 8 XLR inputs. I sometimes get hum / buzzing problems with it when I touch the microphone / computer / xlr cable or the other way around, when I dont touch it.
I used those connectors: Neutrik NC 3 FAA V2
Not sure if it was a stupid idea to take those cheap ones...
I guess my main question is: Should the ground of the connector be conntected to the metal of the rack oder should it rather be isolated from it?
