I'm trying to send out a mix from the 1-2 outs, compress, and record back in, monitoring the results on monitor 1-2 through protools. I have all the latest drivers, firmware and console are current to my knowledge. I can monitor out of protools fine as long as I don't send out and back in. My routing is FireWire1-2 as daw, FireWire 3-4 as analog 1-2. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a bug fix? Is my hardware messed up? I bought it used and this is the first time I have tried a different signal on outs 1-2 than monitor. I'm also getting error messages in pro tools saying hardware can't process fast enough even though I have my buffer settings high and there is only one stereo track with one plugin in the session. Help!
