Hi all!

Recently returned to the Metric Halo fold again after a few years away. I've owned several ULN and 2882 units in the past and love them!

That being said, I purchased a ULN-2 2d on Reverb recently and although it works (for the most part) it is not allowing me to save snapshots or boot states. I've never seen this before on any previous units I've had and I can't find any mention of anything like it on the web!

Basically once I set my parameters in MIO console and try to save, the systems just spins and the unit freezes. Approximately every 20 seconds or so I get a pop up message on the screen that reads:

"Consolidating Persistent State Files...
The persistent memory in your unit has become fragmented.
MIO Console is defragmenting the persistent memory in your unit to allow you to save the updated file to the hardware.
This can take up to 20 seconds to complete. Please be patient"

This cycle repeats over and over again and the only way to get the unit operating again is to reboot it.

Has anyone ever seen this? Any ideas on how to remedy it?

I've tried both the current and V5 MIO Console and drivers. The computer is an older MacBook 2.2 running 10.6.8

Any ideas?
