Hello everyone,
I'm a PC user (RME hdspe AES and MADI) with RME converters. Now I want to switch from RME to Metric Halo converters. I don't understant if I can buy the LIO and use it without PC (or MAC). I need only the AD/DA converter in stand alone mode, anche the anlog monitor out. AN1--->AES1 an so on for 8 channel. I don't undestand if all the time I need to do a reboot with a MAC. I use it for classical music recording in locations.
What is the most less expensive solution to control the LIO? I need a MAC OS 1O? (Maybe a less expensive old Mac Mini or a tablet?)
