I have resurrected my 2882 after years in storage, and connected it to my current MBP 15" (2013 model) via a Thunderbolt to Firewire converter (which I used previously). I can load up the MIO Console and for example switch digital IO from AES to S/PDIF, so it's definitely connected. However, I can't see the interface either in the macOS preferences or my DAW.
I am awaiting a 3D card, I wonder if that will solve the issue...?
